The Challenge

Should we reshape our Institutions due to the challenges from Globalization?

Has Globalization Really Made Nations Redundant?

Is really more effective a policy if set at a supranational level and more efficient if enforced at local levels?

What are the chances for us to have a Global Government?

How should we agree on it? Who should lead that path?

The Situation

Globalization has altered context in which national governance takes place. And offered a lot of new opportunities.

In this world of interdependence we share a common destiny and we still didn’t figure out how on Earth we can live together. [see www.tallbergfoundation.org]

The need for Energy with the weakening of the Global Environment; the Fight for Democracy and Human Rights with the respect of sovereignties and local cultures; disaster relief and prevention; Hunger (with capital letter); Poverty; cultural heritage, brain drain, Peacekeeping…

It is clear that we can only improve ourselves by living and working together.

Policy for a Global World

Globalization has changed our world dramatically. And that requires an adjustment in our global and local institutions that barely has happened. I am working on a book to summarize how policies and institutions should be different for a better shape for today's world. I would love to hear from you on that challenging endeveaour. Thanks in advance.
